I haven't installed an y 3D games yet (it will only be older games I play, I'm not expecting super-duper 3D), I considered buying a low end 3D card but apparently the built in 3D is faster so there's not much point, I gather it will take a 1030 with no PSU upgrade necessary which will give a 5x boost but that's something for the future. Everything else works, its plenty fast enough, I've added a second hard disk, although I had to buy a second caddy you only get one in the box (the new ones only had one in, Dell tight-fistedness).
